Unsurprisingly, Manchester City head our EFL Cup Winner betting market. The reigning Premier League champions are simply obsessed with winning the competition and have kept the trophy under lock and key for the last four years. Just think of Pep Guardiola as an EFL Cup Joe Goldberg.

Chelsea have enjoyed a strong start to the season under Thomas Tuchel and will fancy their chances of progressing to the last eight as they host struggling Southampton tonight. Liverpool face last lower-league opposition in the fourth round in the form of Preston North End and head to Deepdale buoyed by inflicting *that* humiliating defeat on Manchester United at the weekend.

Arsenal were the banter team in crisis at the beginning of the campaign but have turned a corner in recent weeks. Mikel Arteta can also point to their FA Cup triumph in 2020 as proof of his trophy-winning credentials but the Gunners will have to knock out Leeds to punch their ticket to the quarter-finals.

Leicester succeeded Arsenal as FA Cup winners last season to land the first piece of silverware of the Brendan Rodgers era but the Foxes must navigate their way past Graham Potter’s xG heroes Brighton in the fourth round. They also face the prospect of a marathon campaign thanks to their Europa League jaunts across the continent.
