Punter nets £5k off £10 stake on bumper Euro 2020 Bet Builder

There really is nothing like tournament football in the summer and fans from all over the continent have been glued to the action at the European Championships. But, one of our punters from Essex put their knowledge of the game to good use on Sunday night to land a whopper of a Bet Builder.

Our winner placed a fantastic four-fold, that really has to be seen to be believed, on one of the final games in Group A as Switzerland took on Turkey in Baku. It proved to be a great night for the Swiss as they ran out 3-1 winners, while Liverpool’s Xherdan Shaqiri stole the show with a brace of beautiful goals.

The win sealed Switzerland’s progression to the knockout stages, while a sorry Turkey outfit exited the competition after losing three games in-a-row. But, our winner didn’t care about any of that as the Bet Builder beat off odds of 518/1 and returned a tasty total of £5,190 off only a £10 stake. Let’s tell you how it came in.

The first selection on our winning Bet Builder was for Switzerland to have six or more shots on the Turkish target. The three goals alone would have got our winner halfway there, but the Swiss were in flying form and peppered the goal, ending on a total of 10 shots on target.

Our victor also wanted Turkey to have six or more shots as well, and their desperation to keep their slim hopes of qualifying alive helped bring this home. Fenerbahce’s Irfan Kahveci scored a belter for the Turks in the 62 minute – their only goal of the tournament – and they would go on to just cover this bet by hitting the Swiss target six times in the match.

Next our punter focused on the corner market, which makes sense when you think about it. When you have lots of shots, it’s only natural you should get quite a few corners too. So, to round out the Bet Builder our crafty customer was looking for both Switzerland and Turkey to have over 7.5 corners.

This one was tight, but thankfully both counties managed eight corners each to take down the final two selections on the betslip and send our winner into dreamland. With that the cash was claimed and £5,190 was on it’s way to Essex. Enjoy the winnings!
