Whispers about the future of Tottenham’s Harry Kane have been getting louder and louder all season, and with Spurs now seemingly out of the running for Champions League football next season after being beaten 3-1 by Leeds United on Saturday, the exit door looks to be looming large at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the star striker.

As Kane turns 28 in July, it feels like a case of now-or-never if England’s talisman is to leave the club he has been at since he was 11 years old. The frontman is signed up to the North London club until the 2024, but speculation is rife that he will look to move away after the summer’s Euros in a bid to win some elusive silverware before his career comes to an end.

The lack of clarity on who will be the next Tottenham manager can’t be helping matters either. Although, overnight on Saturday our number crunchers made current Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi the favourite to take over at Spurs.

So, where is Kane likely to end up next? We’ve had a look the market to find out and the future looks red for Kane according to our odds makers.

New to Paddy Power?

Manchester United’s lack of a leading man has been evident for a while now, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have moved right into favourites for Kane after being as far out as 7/1 at one stage to secure his signature.

United have been scrambling in recent weeks in an attempt to hang onto Edinson Cavani for another season, but reports suggest he has his heart set on a return to South America to play for Boca Juniors.

Kane could well be the missing piece of the puzzle that brings The Red Devils back to the top of the game, and the money is currently pointing north for his next move in club football.

But, what about the blue half of the city? The odds say, don’t rule that out either! Man City will be without the services of the great Sergio Agüero next term after it was confirmed that he will leave the Etihad Stadium after 10 trophy-laden years with The Citizens recently.

Speaking to PP News recently, Liverpool great Phil Thompson felt City was the perfect spot for Kane to land if he wants to finally win the medals his talent demands.

“Harry Kane is one of the top strikers in Europe, but he’s done his bit for Spurs now”, said Thommo.

“He needs to go and try to win trophies now. That means Manchester City are the only option in England for him, because they can guarantee him them. Manchester United or Liverpool will hopefully be in there for silverware, but you know for sure that City will certainly give you them.”

Mauricio Pochettino

What about foreign shores for Kane? That could be a possibility for the England man, and the prices back that up. Moneybags PSG are next on the hitlist to sign him up, and they definitely have to financial muscles to bring the striker to Paris.

If Kane were to join Neymar, Mbappe and Co next season, you would have to fancy PSG to finally capture that Champions League crown that has so far eluded them. Will his old boss Mauricio Pochettino pull out the cheque book though? Only time will tell.

Even despite their much publicised money woes, don’t rule out Kane becoming the latest Galáctico on Real Madrid books. There is no doubt that Karim Benzema has had an excellent season. But, at 33 years old, the question for the Frenchman will be, how long can he keep doing it? The Spanish capital would still be an enticing move for Kane, especially if he doesn’t fancy changing the colour of his kit.

Chelsea, Juventus and Barcelona are also possible locations for the Tottenham icon, but one place you can probably be sure that he won’t end up is Arsenal. He may have been pictured in a Gunners shirt as a kid, but surely he’s had enough misery in North London without prolonging it even more!
