Football Tips: Back a goal for 11/2 Diogo in a Liverpool and West Ham goalfest

Clean sheets are a thing of the past, people.

We’ve got a fun match to look forward to on Saturday evening as a rejuvenated West Ham take on a Liverpool team who have been somewhat lacklustre of late. The Reds have had three wins on the bounce since the Merseyside derby which has put them back on track, however, they still don’t look convincing. As the old adage goes, it’s the sign of a good team to grind out wins when they are not at their best and Liverpool certainly are a good team.

With Liverpool not firing on all cylinders and with major issues at centre back, Jurgen Klopp’s team selection should be interesting. Unfortunately for West Ham, their main man Michail Antonio is out which is a huge blow for them.

Liverpool to Win and Both Teams To Score

West Ham go into this match with more goals (seven) in their last three Premier League games than Liverpool (six) and I expect the free-scoring to continue from both teams. I’m tipping up a Liverpool Win with Both Teams To Score. Liverpool only have the one Premier League clean sheet this season and West Ham have only failed to score in one Premier League match this term, their opening day 2-0 defeat to Newcastle.

Rhys Williams to be booked

Rhys Williams is in line to start for Liverpool at centre-back and he can expect to be targeted by West Ham in 1v1 situations. Liverpool may alter their formation a little to try offer some cover or protection in front of the young defender, but at the price on offer I like the look of Williams to be Booked here.

Diogo Jota To Score First

My final bet will be one of our Power Prices. As I have said, Liverpool have not been at their best yet this season but their new signing Diogo Jota has been probably their best player in the last few matches and we have enhanced the price on Jota to Score First from 9/2. He will be hoping he can continue his good form and make it three goals in three matches.
