Football Tips: Our trader’s 6/1 double with mixed fortunes for Man Utd & Chelsea tonight

Manchester United and Chelsea represent the Premier League in Europe on Wednesday night.

Paddy’s football trader Brian McDonnell has linked up with PPTV to preview Manchester United vs RB Leipzig and Chelsea’s trip to Krasnodar. Manchester City and Liverpool both won on Tuesday, but Brian doesn’t think the Premier League sides will make it a clean sweep for matchday two.

Krasnodar v Chelsea: Chelsea to Win to Nil

Next Celtic Manager Odds: Eddie Howe New Favourite To Replace Neil Lennon

I think Chelsea are a bit short in the match betting but I do like them to win the game To Nil. It is Krasnodar’s first time playing in the Champions League and they’re sitting midtable in the Russian league. Unfortunately for them on their first home game in this competition they have quite a lot of injuries and their two top goal scorers this season are out injured.

Remy Cabella has four goals in nine games for them and Marcus Berg has five. Both of those players are missing. So, if you’re missing your two big strikers, it’s going to be difficult to get on the scoresheet against Chelsea. Chelsea have tightened it up at the back as well with two 0-0s against Sevilla and Manchester United in their last two games.

Edouard Mendy has come into the nets and looks a bit more comfortable than Kepa Arrizabalaga was. Chelsea will be too good for Krasnodar and I think they’ll keep a clean sheet to Win to Nil as well.

Man Utd v RB Leipzig: RB Leipzig to Win

RB Leipzig are a good side and I’m going to go with them to get an away win at Old Trafford which would really throw the group wide open after United beat Paris St-Germain last time. I think Leipzig have been consistent over the last year and they have one of the best up and coming coaches in Julian Nagelsmann.

They were Champions League semi-finalists last season and only lost four league games. They’ve started this season just as well and are top of the Bundesliga with four wins from five games and a draw as well. I think they’re a nice price to beat United.

United obviously had a great win last week in Paris but I think PSG made it a bit too easy for them. United were fortunate that Bruno Fernandes was able to retake his penalty and PSG just didn’t really offer much going forward.

I think this Leipzig game is going to be a lot more difficult for Manchester United. You look at their home form this season and it’s not been great. They’ve played three games, losing to Crystal Palace and Tottenham before getting a drab 0-0 draw with Chelsea.

It’s definitely not going to be an easy one, even after beating PSG last week, and I think at the prices, Leipzig is the team I’d rather back here to Win the game.
