Brighton to win
Crystal Palace had enjoyed an excellent start to the season, but they have come crashing down to earth in their last two league games. The Eagles were very poor in their 4-0 defeat at Chelsea before the international break, offering nothing going forward and conceding poor goals from a defensive point of view.
They had just narrowly lost at home to Everton before that and they may now lose against their most bitter rivals because Brighton’s league position belies their performances this season.
Graham Potter’s side have been excellent and should be sitting a lot higher in the Premier League table. They were obviously desperately unlucky to lose against Manchester United, but they were also the better team against Chelsea on the opening day of the season and they put up a good fight at high-flying Everton.
Brighton create plenty of chances and have played very nice football since Potter was appointed last year. This is an excellent chance to get revenge for their defeat to Palace last February.

Over 2.5 goals
It feels like every Premier League game is going to serve up a high-scoring thriller at the minute, but Palace and Brighton seem particularly likely of doing so. Neither can boast a defensive record to be proud of after four games, with Brighton conceding 10 and Palace conceding seven.
Both have managed to keep a solitary clean sheet so far, while both also look extremely capable of finding the back of the net at the other end.
Brighton have managed eight and could have doubled that tally if they took their chances against United in the third game of the season, while Palace have only scored five but should have scored more against Southampton and United.
It would be hugely surprising if this was low-scoring, given the current climate in the Premier League. This should be a very entertaining fixture to light up your Sunday afternoon.

Neal Maupay to score anytime
Maupay has enjoyed an excellent start to the season, scoring four goals in four games to keep in touch with the top-scorers in the division at this early stage. The Frenchman has scored four in his last three league games and will be key to Brighton’s rise up the Premier League table.
Graham Potter simply needs him to continue to fire if Brighton are to get the results that their performances deserve.
Maupay is the one Brighton player who has proved clinical this year. Against Manchester United, it was Leandro Trossard and Solly March who passed up glorious opportunities to put United to the sword and it was Maupay who gave the Seagulls the lead in that fixture from the penalty spot.
He showed great goalscoring instincts to score at Everton and Newcastle and is by far and away the most likely player to score on Sunday from either side.
