Football tips: We’re off on a European tour with this 10/1 Wednesday accumulator

We've dug out some value from across the continent.

There’s plenty of European football action on Wednesday night, we’re going to take a look at the best of what the Spanish and Italian leagues have to offer and there’s a Champions League qualifier that should see a couple of goals.

5pm: Benevento vs Inter – Both Teams to Score

Benevento got their return to Serie A off to a great start with a 2-3 win away to Sampdoria thanks to a late goal – showing great ambition in the match having been 1-0 down at half-time. Inter, meanwhile were very un-Inter-like in their 4-3 win over Fiorentina, as time ticked down they went all out for the win and were justly rewarded. No doubt though that manager Antonio Conte won’t have liked their cavalier attitude, but a win is a win!

Both teams are in good goal-scoring form and while Inter have one of the best defences in the league, Benevento averaged over 2.0 goals per home match last season. They should be good for at least one here so we’re going with Both Teams to Score.

6pm: Huesca vs Atletico Madrid – Atletico to Win to Nil

The home side are yet to win since returning to Spain’s top flight and against an Atletico Madrid now armed with Luis Suarez it’s hard to make a case for them getting their first victory of the season here. Atletico were outstanding in their 6-1 opening match against Granada at the weekend, Suarez and Diego Costa already look like they’re already singing off the same hymn sheet and the fighty-bitey partnership could really pay dividends for the Atletico faithful come the end of the season.

Huesca really struggled for goals last season even though they were promoted and they’ve only scored two goals over their three matches so far, conceding four. We’re backing Atletico to win here and keep a Clean Sheet.

8pm: Midtjylland vs Slavia Prague: Both Teams to Score

With the first leg finishing 0-0 Slavia Prague really missed out on a golden opportunity to take this tie by the scruff of the neck, but all is not lost as an away goal here could do well enough to get them back into the Champions League group stage.

Midtjylland are strong at home though and have won four out of their last five there in the domestic league and put three past Young Boys earlier in the month. Prague have a great goal-scoring record and have scored 15 goals over their five most recent away matches. With all to play for we should see both teams getting on the scoresheet here so we’re backing BTTS.

8.30pm: Real Madrid vs Valladolid – Over 2.5 Goals

You’d nearly feel sorry for Valladolid here, they’re coming into their match with just two wins over their last 15 La Liga matches on the road. Obviously Real are huge favourites to win here and while the Handicap of -1 looks tempting the bet would only have won in two out of five recent meetings between the pair at the Bernabeu.

Three of those five did see Over 3.5 goals landing but we’re going to play it a little safer and back Over 2.5 goals to sweeten our Acca here.

  • All four of these picks in a four-fold Acca will give you odds of around 10/1 with Paddy Power.
