Football Tips: Our awesome foursome of Nations League best bets make this 25/1 acca for Friday

Four games, four bets bets and a hell of a lot of value on offer here.

Friday sees action from Groups A, B and C in UEFA’s Nations League. The big clash of the night is the Netherlands taking on Poland.

Elsewhere there’s a huge derby match between Slovakia and Czech Republic, two neighbours who were one country until not so long ago. We’ve had a look at some of the biggest clashes of the night to find a tasty Acca for you.

19:45 Italy vs Bosnia & Herzegovina: Italy to Win & BTTS

Manager Roberto Mancini has an impressive record as Azzurri manager. The man who helped Manchester City to their first Premier League title will take charge of his 20th match for Italy on Friday and so far he’s lead them to victory on 13 occasions, drawing four and losing two.

The sides met twice during qualification for the Euros with Italy winning both matches. Italy haven’t lost a home match since a 1-3 loss to France in 2016 and the odds reflect how the market sees this one going.

Bosnia are no pushovers though and with a crunch Euro qualification match against Northern Ireland fast approaching they’ll be eager to go into that match with a positive result here.

The away side have a good away goal scoring record with seven goals scored over their four most recent away matches. Italy to Win and Both Teams to Score is our pick here.

19:45 Netherlands vs Poland: Both Teams to Score

While the Netherlands aren’t exactly in turmoil with Ronald Koeman leaving for the Barcelona job, Poland can take advantage of the fact they’ll be managed by caretaker manager Dwight Lodeweges.

He’s unlikely to make many changes to what was Koeman’s usual starting XI, especially since the Oranje only lost four times under him over his 20-match reign.

Poland’s record in the Nations League isn’t good with two losses and two draws. However, over their 11 most-recent matches in all competitions, they won eight, drew two and lost just one.

Bayern Munich striker and Poland captain Robert Lewandowski won’t feature so Napoli striker Piotr Zielinski and Hertha’s Krzysztof Piatek will lead the line.

The Dutch have a great record at home but rarely go a match without conceding and Poland rarely go a match without scoring, even when Lewandowski doesn’t feature. So, we’re going with Both Teams to Score here.

Piotr Zielinski

19:45 Norway vs Austria: Erling Haaland to Score Anytime

Norway finished 2019 in pretty good form, beating Malta and the Faroe Islands while drawing with Spain, Sweden and Romania. Their focus will be on their meeting with Serbia in the Euro 2021 Playoffs next month.

Austria also finished 2019 strongly, going seven matches without defeat until their final game against Latvia. This good run of form saw them qualify for the Euros by finishing second to Poland in their group.

We’re all over Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland here, the young striker has only played 80 minutes for the senior side since his transfer to Dortmund in January but he scored 16 in 18 matches for BVB in all competitions.

His youth record for Norway is incredible with nine goals in three matches for the Under 20s and 10 goals in nine matches for the Under 19s. He’s just a beast of a player and we’re backing Haaland to Score Anytime here.

19:45 Slovakia vs Czech Republic: Both Teams to Score

It’s all about bragging rights here among what must be Europe’s friendliest neighbours. The home side are pretty good at home having lost just two of their last 10 matches there. The Czechs did beat them in one of those though.

The Czechs don’t have a good away record it must be said, with just four wins and six losses over their last 10 matches on the road. They have a decent scoring record though and should get one here so we’re backing Both Teams to Score.

All four of these picks in an acca will give you odds of around 25/1 with Paddy Power
