A Same Game Multi on PaddyPower.com allows punters to put together accas on multiple markets from the same game – pretty obvious, really
Dundee United v Celtic
Saturday, 5:30pm, Sky Sports Football
It’s only down to European backlog of course, but there’s six points between Celtic and Rangers – the Gers sat atop the Scottish Premiership table, while Celtic linger in midtable.
That’s just an illusion, but given how deep the disdain between the clubs goes, I would not be surprised that even the bare visual of such an occurrence has Neil Lennon upset and using this as motivation to take the trip to Dundee and annihilate the poor Tangerines.
Who’s on the move this summer? Get the latest odds at PaddyPower.comThis is now, bizarrely, an important chapter for Celtic as they keep pace with their Old Firm rivals as well as balancing the logistical nightmare of European football.
Celtic’s dominance has been accredited to a severe lack of pressure from Rangers – but as Steven Gerrard installs stability at Ibrox, there may well be an actual title race ahead of us.
The sooner that’s accepted in the green half of Glasgow, the better. We’ll see how if complacency kicks in here, as we put together a Same Game Multi at a fab 15/1 to get our Saturday evening viewing in.
Half-Time: The Draw
There hasn’t been a Scottish Premiership game featuring Dundee United this season that’s ended with more than a goal between the sides.
Micky Mellon’s order of the day does seem to be to keep it tight, and that certainly won’t change now with Celtic coming to town.

Celtic certainly didn’t break a sweat in their 6-0 romp of their Icelandic opponents last week, but they will be very much aware that a tougher tie against Hungarian champions Ferencvaros is coming thick and fast.
If they’re slow out of the blocks in this one, that’s probably why. Will Neil Lennon even play his first-choice XI in this tie? It does seem like a late reaction around the hour mark before reinforcements are called upon to save two points.
Celtic to Win by Exactly 1 Goal
As previously stated, it’s very tricky to turn up to Tannadice on a miserable Saturday evening when you’re between the two highs of European football either side.
If this is also Dundee United’s thinking, then they’ll be happy to surrender possession and sit deep. They coughed up 55% possession to Ross County last week so they’re well-equipped to sit in.
This probably won’t be a pretty watch, but Scottish Premiership titles are won on days where things generally go very wrong before your luck switches.
This has all the trademarks.

Odsonne Edouard to Score Anytime
There will always be a moment of quality in these games, and for that, you fall back to the most likely source of that – and at a particularly fair price, I would add.
Edouard has already netted three times in his two games thus far, averaging a goal every 59 minutes for the Celts.
He’s potentially special, and with Lennon confirming he won’t be going anywhere, it should focus the Frechman.
These 3 Bets in a Same Game Multi add up to a tasty 15/1
