Breaking: Row over piano shipping cost threatens Sanchez’s Inter move

The Chilean looks set to bid farewell to Machester, but not without his beloved piano

Alexis Sanchez

Sanchez played the piano during a cringe-worthy video United released to announce his signing.

As it turns out, the 31-year-old’s rousing rendition of ‘Glory, Glory Man United’ was the best he played during an 18-month spell at the club.

United CEO Ed Woodward took a break from ballsing up a deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho to negotiate the Chilean’s permanent departure from Old Trafford.

It’s understood Sanchez is keen to take the piano to Italy but Woodward is refusing to cover the shipping costs after the diminutive winger scored only three league goals in 32 games.

‘F**k him and his piano’, Woodward told Paddy Power News while sticking the former Udinese man’s £500k-per-week contract through a shredder.

‘He was a bigger waste of money than that flight to Madrid I booked after we beat PSG’.

‘Don’t get me wrong. I want that thing out of my office. But the shipping fees are extortionate.

Perhaps he could cover the cost with some of that £26m I paid him for doing f**k all?’

With the deal on the brink of collapse, Inter teammates Ashley Young and Romelu Lukaku have set up a JustGiving page to try to raise the necessary funds to pay for the piano’s transport to Milan.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Meanwhile, Manchester United will be making wholesale changes for tomorrow evening’s dead rubber Europa League clash with Austrian pub team LASK.

Talking to Paddy Power news ahead of the game, boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told fans to expect to see some fresh faces in the side.

‘I’ll be starting myself up front for this one. It will be a great opportunity for me to score my 127th goal for the club’, beamed the 47-year-old.

‘Mick Phelan will come into midfield alongside Fred… the Red’.

‘And Doris from the canteen will be making her debut in goal’.

The Norwegian confirmed Jesse Lingard is in contention for a place on the bench.
