For Wednesday night’s European football action we’re looking at Italy’s Serie A where Inter can keep their title hopes alive with a win and both Napoli and Roma are looking to cement their places in next season’s Europa League.

18.30 Parma v Napoli: BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

Parma seem to think the lockdown is still ongoing, they’ve obviously not realised they’re supposed to be back playing football. They’ve won only one of their nine matches since returning to action, drawing two and losing six. Napoli, on the other hand, have been one of the better teams, winning five, drawing two and losing just one of their eight Serie A matches.

Parma are, at least, scoring regularly. Of those nine matches they’ve scored in all of them and over the season so far have been averaging 1.35 goals per game. Napoli being in good form are obviously scoring plenty and Over 2.5 goals has occurred in eight of Parma’s nine matches and in five out of Napoli’s eight in the league. With those stats and decent odds we’re looking at BTTS and Over 2.5 goals.

20.45 Inter Milan v Fiorentina: Inter to Win & BTTS

With Juventus being eight points ahead of Inter with only three games to go after this one, Inter need to get all three points on offer here. For most punters they’ll presume Juve have now pretty much won the title but this season they’ve repeatedly shot themselves in the foot and allowed teams back into the mix. Inter obviously know this and facing a Fiorentina side who have very little to play for for the remainder of the season you’d expect them to win this at a canter.

Unfortunately for Inter here, Fiorentina have found some good form. Over their five most recent fixtures they’ve won three and drawn two. On their travels they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one. Inter are in good form too though, they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one of their five most previous league fixtures. At home they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one.

Inter have a strong record against Fiorentina at the San Siro with the home side winning eight out of 10 recent meetings in all competitions while Fiorentina have won two. Inter should win here but the away side are scoring plenty of late, scoring in all except one of their matches since the return to play, so we’re backing the home side and BTTS at some very tasty odds.

20.45 Spal vs Roma: Under 3.5 goals

Already-relegated Spal have been particularly bad since the return of Serie A, losing seven and drawing one of their eight matches. Roma have won four, drawn one and lost three. Things were looking bad for the Romans when they endured a run of three losses in a row but they’ve look pretty decent in their four most recent matches.

There’s some value here in opposing goals. Under 3.5 goals has been seen in 11 out of 16 home Spal matches and in 10 from 16 away Roma matches. Under 3.5 goals would have landed in four out of five previous Spal matches and in four from five recent Roma matches too. The current odds on offer don’t reflect these stats at all and provide plenty of value so we’re going with it here.

All three of these picks into a treble will give you odds of over 7/1.
