Remember when Norwich beat Man City 3-2 at their own passing game? That was this season! It all feels as distant as the Jeremy Goss days. Since the return of Premier League football The Canaries have lost all 3 or their games and look a beaten team resigned to relegation.
Arsenal on other hand have had a couple of good wins and are looking more positive after they kicked off their return with two defeats. I expect Arsenal to make it 3 wins in a row, even with their shaky defence. It’s always hard to see Arsenal keeping a clean sheet so my first bet is Arsenal to win and both teams to score.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was rested for the last match and is my pick for the second bet. The man just scores goals and against bottom of the table teams and this is Fantasy Football captain material. Joint-top scorer last season, he’s two off top spot this year and he needs just one more to make it 50 for Arsenal. So, I’m expecting at least a goal or two for Aubameyang here. We have him in our Power Prices this week to grab a brace or better.
With most of Arsenal’s good play coming from the left through Bukayo Saka, Kieran Tierney and Aubameyang – who also likes to drift in from that side – young Max Arrons will be in for a tough time at right-back. With 7 yellows this season we are happy to back him again to pick up a card.
Football Tips: Our 3 best bets as Arsenal prepare to pile on the misery for Norwich
It doesn't get any easier for The Canaries.
