Liverpool fans will have to wait another week to get their hands on the Premier League trophy after Man City’s Monday night thrashing of Burnley. With that in mind, I feel like Liverpool will want to make sure they come away with maximum points so they can give themselves the opportunity of finally securing this season’s title next week against their only danger, Man City.
Liverpool to win to nil
After watching Liverpool play out a bore draw against their rivals Everton, I wouldn’t be getting too involved in Liverpool’s 1/5 win price against an ever-improving Crystal Palace squad. Saying that, I do feel they’ll come out on top of this tight affair and my first bet would be for Liverpool to win to nil.
We all know how close they are to the title and clean sheets guarantee them that. I feel Liverpool’s main priority is to not concede and their game plan has slightly adapted to making sure they always have that extra cover in front of their defence. With that in mind, I feel Palace will struggle to break down the Liverpool wall and I’d be surprised to see them get a goal.
Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino to have 2 or more shots on target each
We all hope to see the return of Mo Salah as you can see Liverpool really aren’t the same team without him. Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino tried their best to create chances for each other but there was just something missing, and that was the Egyptian King. With the hopeful return of Salah, I like the look of our Power Price – Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino to have 2 or more shots on target each.
The 3 boys together are unstoppable and I find it hard to see Palace contain all three so I feel each player will find themselves finding that bit of extra bit of space at some stage of the match, and with that double-digit price, it’s definitely worth a chance that they arrive with their shooting boots on.
Same Game Multi – Liverpool to win, Mane to score, Firmino to be carded
With all the above factored in, I like the SGM of Liverpool to win, Mane to score & Fabinho to be carded. Mane will be supplied ball for the majority of the match and it’s in his nature to go for a goal with any half opportunity.
With Liverpool’s midfield playing that slightly deeper role now, Fabinho really is the main in the middle of all the action and after avoiding a card against Everton, I don’t think he’ll be as lucky this time around and I’d be expecting him to pick one up this time around.
