Football Tips: Four to score in this natty 9/1 Euro footy accumulator for Wednesday

European football rumbles on and we've taken a deep dive to find you the best value for Wednesday's matches.

Wednesday night sees some Italian action where teams are attempting to chase down the league leaders, in Spain Real Madrid will try to stay atop of La Liga with a win, and we’re got a top-two matchup from the Austrian Bundesliga that could well decide where the title ends up.

Let’s take a closer look…

18.30: Inter vs Sassuolo – Both Teams to Score

Since the return to play, Inter have drawn with Napoli in the Coppa Italia and beaten Sampdoria at home. Sassuolo were given a spanking in the league thanks to a 4-1 mauling at the hands of Atalanta last Sunday.

Inter will have to be wary coming into this one, Sassuolo have a great record at the San Siro winning on 4/5 previous visits there. However, Inter are particularly strong at home this season, having lost just one, winning eight and drawing four. Sassuolo are pretty dire on the road winning three, drawing four and losing six.

Inter rarely don’t score at home and Sassuolo have a decent scoring average of 1.08 and with that impressive previous record against Inter we’re backing Both Teams to Score here.

19.30: Rapid Vienna vs Salzburg – Under 3.5 Goals

Rapid Vienna need to win here otherwise they’re not going to have enough games left to catch their Bundesliga rivals. They’ll be all too aware of what they have to do but, the thing is, they’ve only beaten Salzburg once in their last 10 meetings at the Allianz Stadion in all competitions.

4/10 of those meetings saw Over 2.5 goals landing (in 90 minutes) and 6/10 saw BTTS landing, only 2/10 have seen Over 3.5 goals. Now, of course, Rapid have to go all out here but Salzburg’s defence is the stingiest in the league, conceding 0.93 goals per match and we think they’re going to give their hosts yet another frustrating night in Vienna and keep it tight.

20.45 Roma vs Sampdoria – Roma to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

Roma are pretty big favourites here at 4/9 and they don’t really have much to fear as they’re facing a side that have won just three away matches all season, drawing one and losing eight. Roma though have won just six home league matches, drawing three and losing four.

Roma are chasing Champions League football and a win here would surely close the distance on Atalanta above them who face Lazio at the same time. Roma have a good goal scoring record at 2.0 per league match and are conceding 1.46, Sampdoria on the road are scoring 1.08 and conceding 2.0. We should see goals here and with Sampdoria having won just 2/10 previous encounters at the Stadio Olimpico we’re giving Roma the nod, put that together and we’re backing Roma to Win & Over 2.5 Goals.

21.00: Real Madrid vs Mallorca – Real Madrid to Score Over 2.5 Goals

Real top La Liga at the minute thanks to them having beaten and drawn with second-placed Barcelona earlier in the season. Real are very strong at home, having won 11 and drawn four of their home league matches this season. Mallorca haven’t much of a hope here, they’ve won one away league match this season, drawing two and losing 11 and in their history have only ever beaten Real four times over 28 visits to the capital.

Real have scored three goals in both of their matches since the return of the league and we see that trend continuing here so we’re backing Real to Score Over 2.5 Goals.

All four of these picks into an Acca will give you odds of over 9/1 with Paddy Power.
