Football tips: Our 17/1 acca for Sunday’s action across the European leagues

There are so many games to choose from.

Sunday’s football schedule from Europe is starting to look like a typical Sunday from before you-know-what.

While it’s obviously missing some of the heavy hitters, but there’s still plenty to choose from and let’s have a look at some of the value picks we’ve found.

Hartberg v Salzburg, Both Teams to Score @ 8/11

Sunday 16:00

Hartberg are a decent side at home, losing just one of their last five in the league. While Salzburg’s recent away from isn’t great to be honest, as they’ve won only one of their last five on their travels.

Hartberg have scored 1.82 goals on average this season at home, while Salzburg are blowing teams away in terms of goals per match with 2.64 on the road. Salzburg’s Clean Sheet record isn’t great though, with just one blank card in five of their previous away league games and that’s why  we’re looking at both sides netting here.

Wisla Krakow v Legia Warsaw, Both Teams to Score

Sunday 16:30

Legia Warsaw are on a good run with five wins out of six, but will have to take on a Wisla Krakow side who are unbeaten in their last five home matches. Wisla pulled off a famous 4-0 win over Legia here last season and the away side will be gunning for revenge.

Krakow are scoring 1.46 goals per game on average and conceding 0.85, while Legia are scoring 1.38 and conceding 1.08 on their travels. Historically both teams to score doesn’t tend to land in these matches, indeed it’s landed in 0/5 previous meetings between the pair in Krakow. But, this season Wisla have been in decent goal scoring form and Legia’s usually sturdy defence has been a bit iffy on the road.

Augsburg v Koln: Both Teams to Score @ 4/7

Sunday 17:00

Both teams are making flirty eyes at the relegation zone and whoever loses here is going to end up getting dragged into what’s going on below them.

Both Teams to Score has landed in 10 of the last 14 Augsburg home matches and in the same number of Koln away games. Augsburg have scored in three of their four matches since the Bundesliga restarted, while Koln have registered a goal in all of them. With both teams needing to go for it here, we have to go with both to find the onion sack.

PAOK v Olympiacos: Both Teams to Score

Sunday 17:30

Second-placed PAOK can’t catch Olympiacos over the remaining matches in the Greek league, but they’ll be eager to put some light between themselves and AEK in third place. The home side have a great record, they’ve only lost one of their last 30 home games in the league, and have scored 1.92 goals while conceding 0.88 on average at home this season.

Olympiacos are top dog for a reason though, they have an away record that has seen them lose just once in their last 18 away matches, scoring 1.54 and conceding 0.92 goals on average in their away matches.

We’d normally be tempted by an Over 2.5 Goals bet here with such scoring averages, but these tend to be cagey affairs and we’d be kicking ourselves if it ended 1-1. Because of that and those good scoring records, we’re again going with a Both Teams to Score.

Slavia Prague v Plzen: Slavia Prague Over 1.5 Goals

Sunday 19:00

Both teams have won all three of their matches played since the restart of the league. Slavia are formidable on home turf, as they’ve not lost any of their previous 28 league matches.

Plzen will give them a good match though and they’ve won four on the bounce on the road, indeed over the course of the league they’ve lost only two away matches all season. Three of the previous five meetings between the pair in Prague have seen Over 2.5 goals and, with this being the only match on our list with actual supporters attending, Slavia should get the upper hand here.

Slavia have scored Over 1.5 goals in seven of their last eight home matches and we reckon the odds are great value on that happening again.
