The Sunday afternoon game sees a Man United team firing on all cylinders travel to Goodison park to face an Everton side that has gone well in recent weeks.
This game really screams Both Teams to Score. Looking at both teams’ recent results, they’re scoring for fun. In Everton’s last five games, both teams have scored, with Everton combining for a total of 11 goals.
Moving on to United, both teams have only scored in one out of their last five games but, like Everton, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have scored 11 goals in their last five games. I wouldn’t be too worried about BTTS only landing once in this period as I feel Everton at home will pose more of a threat to United than recent opposition. And, with both teams easily finding the net as of late, it seems a no-brainer.
The only worry in recent weeks would have been a negative team-selection letting this down, but Bruno Fernandes seems to have reinvigorated United. They now luck much more comfortable going forward and he really seems to be the midfielder they have been crying out for. So I can see United really going for the win here to keep up the pressure on that Champions league spot.

On the subject of Bruno Fernandes, the new arrival has put in some solid performances since he has joined Man Utd, scoring two goals and assisting once in his last two games – although both goals did come from the spot.
Fernandes is now the designated penalty and free kick taker which allows him to get in a lot of shots a game. So far this season Man Utd have also received the most penalties in the league, being awarded 10 in 27 games, which gives Fernandes even more opportunities.
But even without taking these set pieces he loves a shot from range. In Thursday night’s trashing of Club Brugge he had four shots with three of them being on target, while against Watford he had three attempts with just one on target, which he scored. With this match being such an open game he will get plenty of shooting chances along with any set pieces United are awarded, so we must look at Bruno Fernandes Shots on Target for this match.
