We’ve an exciting evening to look forward to on Saturday as easily the second and third best teams in the league clash at King Power Stadium.
Pep Guardiola and Brendan Rodgers are two of the best bosses in the business and, with their sides playing in similar styles, we can expect to see an open, passing game, with a big emphasis from Leicester on breaking Man City’s high press.
The Sky Blues have not been firing on all cylinders this season and I’m happy to take them on here at 4/6. The league is out of sight and they will be concentrating heavily on the Champions League with a trip Real Madrid on Wednesday.
I expect Man City to play a weakened team and with a well-rested Leicester having only played twice this month, they have to be my first pick at what looks large at 10/3.
However, this is Man City we’re talking about here; they nearly always score. They’re also the league’s top scorers this season, and in four of their six defeats they have netted. Leicester to win and both teams to score appeals at 11/2.
A longer shot selection in our Power Prices that catches my eye is Both Teams to Score in Both Halves boosted to 10/1 from 8/1.
City are top scorers in the league and as I fancy Leicester to put in a big performance with a bit of lucky the goals fall either side of half time.
I’m hoping for a shootout of a match on Saturday evening. That means it’s worth looking to some Leicester Player Shots on Target options as well. Jamie Vardy is 12/5 to have 2+ shots on target and Ayoze Perez is 5/6 to have just 1+ shots on target.
If you combine them together you get a price just over 5/1. Not bad at all.
These two players will be in for the majority of Leicester’s shots in this match. Vardy is joint third for shots on target in the league this season and Perez sits just outside the top 20 with 17 shots on target.
Let the flood gates open!
