Chelsea vs Aston Villa: Chelsea to Win & Over 2.5 goals – 4/6
This will be the 75th league meeting between these sides at Stamford Bridge with the home side winning 40 of the 74 so far. 14 have ended in draws, while they’ve lost 20 to the Villains. Villa’s recent record there is pretty bad though, of their last 17 meetings they’ve won just two.
Chelsea had been on a fantastic run winning eight out of 10 matches in all competitions, but since then have won just one of their five most recent matches. Their home form is decent though, they’ve won three from five at home of late and are averaging 1.29 goals per match.
Aston Villa are just awful away from Villa Park and they’ve chalked up just four points from a possible 28. But, they are scoring on their travels – averaging 1.57 goals and conceding 2.14.
With both teams scoring for fun and Chelsea having a good home record our pick here is Chelsea to Win & Over 2.5 goals.
Leicester vs Watford: Leicester to Win to Nil – 6/5
Leicester are unbeaten in the Premier League at home this season and have won their last six-in-a-row. Watford’s record at the King Power is dire, they’ve not won there since 2013, indeed of their last seven matches there they’ve only collected four points.
The Foxes are averaging 2.29 goals per home league match this season and conceding just 0.57, while for Watford they’ve scoring just 0.71 goals per match and conceding 2.14 on their travels.
The Foxes should heap more pain on managerless Watford here.
Southampton vs Norwich: Both Teams to Score – 4/7
Both teams desperately need the points here. Both have won just one of their last nine in the Premier League, drawing two and losing all six of the others.
There’s so little between them and Southampton will need to leverage home advantage here.
The Saints have been scoring at least; they’ve scored five in their last five at home in the league, while Norwich have scored four in their last two Premier League matches.
Wolves vs West Ham: Wolves to Win – 8/11
Wolves’ home form isn’t the best admittedly, and they won just two of their seven league matches this season. However, they have lost just one of them, scoring 10 and conceding 10. West Ham’s form isn’t the best either, with just two wins from their seven away league matches.
Wolves are unbeaten in their last four at home though, scoring six in those four matches and conceding just three. Meanwhile, West Ham have won just one of their last five on the road, scoring three and conceding seven.
The Hammers have only ever won six of their 27 matches at Molineux and aren’t in good goal scoring form of late on the road, so Wolves should do the business here.Shoot over to PaddyPower.com now for all the latest football odds
