Paddy Power have suspended betting on Unai Emery to get the sack at Arsenal, after a flood of money this morning.
We believe the Spaniard has ‘won’ the fiercely competed sack race of the past week – at least he’s won something with Arsenal, then.
The favourites to succeed him are Wolves boss Nuno and assistant coach Freddie Ljungberg (both 6/4), with all the latest money coming for the club legend.
Asked about the situation at the Emirates spokesman Paddy Power said: “Like Arsenal conceding a goal, we could all see this for a long time, though I’m sure Unai Emery is utterly baffled – a bit like Gunners fans watching his post-match interviews recently.
“And it looks like the club could go from a pants manager to a pants model, as Freddie Ljungberg gets a lot of attention from our punters.”
