International Tuesday Treble: Wales can overcome Hungary as part of this 10/1 wager

Qualification looms for Wales, Northern have a pi*s easy trip to Germany while the Scots seek revenge on the Kazakhs

Tuesday night sees the curtain falling on the teams who will automatically qualify for next year’s Euros. Of course, the playoffs will still have to be decided but that’s not until March of next year. We’re taking a look at three of Tuesday night’s matches; a must-win for Wales when they take on Hungary at home, Michael O’Neill’s Northern Ireland travel to Jogi Low’s Germany and Scotland can avenge their 3-0 opening day loss to Kazakhstan.

Wales vs Hungary: Wales to Win @ 8/13

Both teams can qualify here although the away side could do it with a draw. The Welsh are favourites here, currently priced at 8/13, and are unbeaten in all of their home matches played during 2019.

If Hungary are to qualify with a draw, they’ll need Slovakia to not win at home to Azerbaijan which is unlikely in fairness so they’ll be after the three points here too.

The problem for both teams is that they’re pretty shy in front of goal.

Of Wales’ five home matches in 2019 they’ve won four by a single goal (three 1-0 wins and one 2-1 win) the other was a 1-1 draw with Croatia. Over this qualification campaign they’ve only scored eight goals in their seven matches and have conceded six. At home that record is four scored and two conceded.

Hungary’s away record is bad. Of their last 12 on the road they’ve only won one and over the qualification campaign they’ve won four in total, three of which were at home, their one away win was a 1-3 victory over Azerbaijan.

With a good home record, Wales are the value bet here. Hungary have a bad away record and while they could make it a long night for Wales, the home side have the talent and home advantage to take the three points here. Our pick is Wales to win at 8/13.

Germany vs Northern Ireland: Germany to Win & BTTS @ 17/10

Germany secured their place at next year’s Euro with a 4-0 home win over Belarus last Saturday, at the same time Northern Ireland played out a 0-0 draw with the Netherlands and were it not for a missed penalty from Steven Davis they would’ve still been in with a shout of automatic promotion here. The Ulstermen can still qualify through the playoffs though.

The Germans are very strong at home, having only lost just one of their last nine in Germany. This will be the fifth meeting between the nations since 2016, the Germans have won the last four, scoring eight to Northern Ireland’s one.

The Ulstermen have greatly improved under O’Neill since taking charge. They’ve scored in all three of their away qualification matches and in all four of their most recent away games. With that record the value here is Germany to Win & Both Teams to Score at 17/10.

Scotland vs Kazakhstan: Both Teams to Score @ 7/5

Scotland too are looking at qualifying for Euro 2020 thanks to the playoffs. They’ve rallied of late after a disastrous beginning to their campaign in Group I with victories over Cyprus and San Marino in their last two matches. The Scots will be out for revenge here too, Kazakhstan beat them 3-0 in the opening fixture of the group back in March.

Scotland have a few injury worries though, captain Andy Roberton and Scott McTominay are still out but manager Steve Clarke can use the opportunity to give some fringe players a shout. The Kazaks aren’t great on the road, only two wins in their nine most recent matches, however, they’ve scored in 7/9 of those matches.

With that record in mind, Both Teams to Score at 7/5 screams value.

International Tuesday Treble pays 10/1:

Wales to beat Hungary @ 8/13
Germany to beat Northern Ireland & BTTS @ 17/10
Scotland vs Kazakhstan: Both Teams to Score @ 7/5 is where it’s all at for everything football folks!
