Best Bets: Everton’s Kean eager to impress in Bournemouth goal fest

Go on Graeme, you know you want to back him

Will an Eddie Howe team ever learn how to defend? Probably not and I love it!

Bournemouth have been in the Premier League since the 2015/16 season and they’ve always just tried to attack and depend on their quality and strikers to win games.

In my opinion, this is the right way to approach the top flight as they’ll pick up lots of points against the teams they should. On the downside, they’ll also get hammered from time to time.

Norwich have adapted this approach this season and it’s working well for them so far too.

Everton have only scored 4 goals this season. That’s partly because they started the season with Dominic Calvert-Lewin playing through the middle. He’s probably not good enough to lead the line and Marco Silva made a few changes in their last game against Wolves.

They started that game with Moise Kean, Alex Iwobi and Richarlison as a front three and Sigurdsson playing in the ten role.

That attacking four is very exciting and would trouble any defence in the league.

Only Norwich have conceded more that Bournemouth this season, they are conceding on average two goals per game, which is to be expected with their style of football.

I can only see goals in this game. The over 2.5 goals seems a safe bet here but I’d take a punt on the over 3.5 at somewhere around the 15/8 mark.

OVER 3.5 GOALS @ 15/8

Graeme Souness took a pop at Moise Kean a couple of weeks about his attitude, his argument was based on if Juventus let him go he must have an attitude problem. Souness’s views are so in the past that if he was managing in the Premier League today he’d still be playing FOUR FOUR F**KING TWO.

Kean was in the last year of his contract and Juventus getting 28 million for a player that had only played a handful of games was smart enough business.

On the other hand, Everton’s Director of Football Marcel Brands has gotten a great deal here and I think the 19-year-old will be a success in England. He’ll surely start through the middle on Sunday and, with the quality Everton have on either side of him, he’d be the one I’d go for in the goalscorer markets. He’s 5/1 to open the scoring and 17/10 anytime.

It’s not exactly a super Sunday but expect to see end-to-end football and take a punt on the overs and Moise Kean to get on the score sheet.

Moise Kean First Goalscorer @ 5/1

Moise Kean Anytime Goalscorer @ 17/10
