Odds slashed on Mourinho to take over at Everton

Paddy Power have seen a large gamble on Jose Mourinho moving to Everton overnight.

That has forced us to cut the out of work manager from 12/1 to 4/1 to make Goodison Park the next stop in his eventful career.

However, Paris Saint Germain are still favourites to appoint him at 11/8. Elsewhere, former club Inter Milan are 9/2, while Lyon and Monaco are rated as 4/1 and 8/1 chances respectively.

Asked about Mourinho’s next move spokesman Paddy Power said: “We’ve seen a large number of bets on Jose Mourinho making a shock return to the Premier League overnight, with bettors backing him to move to Everton.

“Inter Milan are also in the running to sign him because his experience of returning to previous clubs has gone so well in the past.”
