Man City face Burton in the semi- finals of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night in what is possibly the most one-sided contest on the planet, unless Brock Lesner and the Wealdstone Raider go toe-to-toe anytime soon.
City are a staggering 1/33 to win in 90 minutes against Nigel Clough’s 60/1 underdogs, so we’re going to have to be a little inventive to make sure the reward matches the risk.
And with this 7/2 same game multi, we may have cracked it.

The one thing we’re pretty sure we’ll see on Wednesday night is goals. Lots of ’em.
Burton have knocked out Aston Villa, Burnley, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough en route to the semi’s and a 4-0 win at Rochdale last weekend should have them in good heart, but this is different gravy.
And while City’s 7-0 win over Rotherham could prove an outlier for City, they won’t have a better chance to run up another massive score line and put this two-legged tie to bed within 90 minutes.
And there’s even room for a consolation goal for Burton.
City – 3 on the handicap @ 6/5
The reigning Carabao Cup champions haven’t been at their imperious best in this competition with scratchy wins over Fulham and a penalty shoot-out win at Leicester City.
With a Premier League title to chase and the business end of the Champions League starting next month, Pep Guardiola will desperately want to avoid needing a result when his side travel to the Pirelli Stadium at the end of the month.
Burton can park as many buses as they like, but if City are in the mood, the goals will flow.
City could easily hit five, but we’ve factored in a little insurance, and giving Burton a lead of 3 goals on the handicap.
Kevin De Bruyne anytime goalscorer @ 13/10
It’s difficult to second guess who will start for City with all the talent their disposal.
Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling are all odds-on in the anytime goalscorers’ market, but we can’t see all of them starting.
One player who should start though is Kevin De Bruyne.
He needs game time as he continues his recovery from injury and this looks the ideal chance to get a couple more miles on the clock before next Monday night’s visit of Wolves in the Premier League.
At 13/10 to hit the back of the net anytime over the 90 mins, we’re backing the Belgian to have his shooting boots on.Shoot over to PaddyPower.com now for all the latest football betting
