The odds of Rafa Benitez succeeding Claude Puel at Leicester have been dramatically slashed, after a surge of bets yesterday.
The Spaniard was a huge 100/1 to be the next Leicester manager with Paddy Power yesterday (Sunday) – this morning (Monday), he’s the 7/2 favourite, after a massive flow of bets.
Puel, despite back-to-back wins over Chelsea and Manchester City, is favourite to be the next top flight manager sacked (6/4) after his side’s late defeat to Cardiff at the weekend.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “Whisper it, but poor old Claude Puel is back on the chopping block – a place where he has spent most of his time in England.
“And it sounds like the Foxes could be lining up his replacement, as we witnessed a huge move on Rafa Benitez being the next Leicester manager.”
