Leicester City vs Manchester City – Manchester City to win & over 2.5 goals @ 10/11

City could be reeling after their shock 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace while Leicester will be buzzing after their hugely impressive win at Stamford Bridge. But that’s no reason to suspend logic, City should still win this game.

However, Pep’s side’s form has been undeniably shaky of late and they have leaked goals with a lot more regularity than usual. City have conceded in their last four games and Leicester’s tendency to have a go could yield results, meaning City will have to score two or more goals to take the three points and that could play into our hands.

Manchester Utd vs Huddersfield – Manchester Utd (-1) @ 8/13

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer returns to Old Trafford for the first time as Manchester United boss to face relegation-threatened Huddersfield. The Terriers are without a win in December and have now lost five games on the spin.

They’ll come up against a Manchester United side that looked rejuvenated in their 5-1 win over Cardiff.

You could of course argue that it was only Cardiff, but United played with real swagger and bore absolutely no resemblance to a confidence-drained Jose Mourinho side who had stumbled through similar challenges all season.

The Red Devils should have far too much for Huddersfield and we fancy them to clear the one-goal handicap. Huddersfield will sit in and try to make life difficult for United, but the front three of Martial, Rashford and Lingard are full of pace, dangerous and difficult to contain.

Tottenham vs Bournemouth – Tottenham to win and Harry Kane to score @ 4/5

After a very promising start to the season, Bournemouth have tailed off considerably. Despite Saturday’s win over Brighton, the Cherries have won just two of their last eight games, losing six. In Tottenham, they come up against a side that has only dropped points at home to Liverpool and Man City this season. It is very hard to see anything other than a home win.

Spurs striker Harry Kane seems to have a particular penchant for scoring against the Cherries. Kane has six goals in his five Premier League appearances against Bournemouth, making Spurs to win and Harry Kane to score anytime look a tasty bet.

Crystal Palace vs Cardiff – Crystal Palace to win @ 8/13

A magnificent win over Manchester City at the weekend where Palace were excellent against the champions for the most part and should have far too much for struggling Cardiff. Alright, they can’t rely on Andros Townsend screamers every week but it is only Cardiff.

At the half-way stage of the season, the Bluebirds are yet to win on the road, something that should surprise nobody. Under Neil Warnock, they are one of the dullest teams in the league and will have to rely on home form if they are to survive the drop.

Their only point away from home came in a listless 0-0 draw with Huddersfield.

Palace can make it three home wins on the spin with a win and should do so against a team that has picked up one point out of a possible 27 on the road.
