The Israeli Premier League took the prize for most bizarre goal of the weekend after former Leeds stalwart/loanee, Habib Habibou (gotta love saying his name), was tending to an injured teammate when a pretty decent goal opportunity came his away that he rightfully couldn’t ignore. Check it out:

The Central African striker has a long list of clubs to his name and is probably best remembered for how he compassionately dealt with a meandering duck that found it’s way onto the pitch during a game between Zulte-Waregem and Lokeren in the Belgian top flight. Amusingly, Leeds United handed him the number 22 shirt when he signed on transfer deadline day.
Never hear the saying ‘a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush’ Habibou? Nevermind. You seem content with your goal.
