Andre-Pierre Gignac’s (remember him?) career seems to be going pretty swimmingly in Mexico. The 32-year old poor man’s Olivier Giroud (or is it the other way around?) made the unusual move to Mexican club Tigres of Monterrey from Marseille back in 2015 after many thought he was in for all set up for a Premier League move. Weird, eh?
But it seems to be paying off for the former French forward, netting 14 goals already in Liga MX and living his best life. Four of those goals came last night in the 6-1 win over Puebla and his fourth was one of the deftest lobs we’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing. And before you say it, yes he meant every bit of it.

To be fair, his second was pretty tasty too. I’d say a move to PSG in the window is surely on the cards. Or, maybe not. I might be wrong but I don’t think he’s a big PSG fan:
“Hatred is only for Paris Saint-Germain. I’d prefer to die than sign for them.”
Maybe just stay put and enjoy the Pozole then Andre.
