While they’re unlikely to bother the unbeaten Juventus at the top of Serie A this season – Torino kept up their race for a place in Serie A with a 3-2 win over Frosinone on Friday night.

But the result wasn’t without drama for I Granata.

Having taken a cosy 2-0 lead through Tomas Ricon (20) and Daniele Baseli (46), the wheels then started to come off bus for the home side as two goals in six minutes from Edoardo Goldaniga (58) and Camillo Ciano (64), saw the struggling visitors draw level.

However, what followed seven minutes later was worthy of winning any game as Alex Berenguer’s stunning strike into the top right corner rescued Torino’s blushes.

And with it being Serie A, the home side then parked the bus, let the air out of the tyres and placed an armed guard around the goal to secure a valuable three points.
