With more clubs than all MGM Grand’s blackjack tables combined, we weren’t too surprised to see Italian international Simone Zaza pulling on one more club’s colours this Sunday.

Torino are the lucky beneficiaries of the former Hammers loanee’s talents thanks to Valencia no longer requiring his services.

And this afternoon he showed just why so many clubs have been willing to give him a shot – at 27 years of age, he almost has as many former clubs as he does professional seasons under his belt – as he slotted away a rapier-swift break in the dying minutes of a nil-nil stalemate to give the Il Toro all three points.

In case your memory of Euro 2016 has been blasted into oblivion by laser technology, Zaza, with the second Italian penalty in a generally shambolic shootout against Germany, danced like a chicken before lorrying the ball into the stratosphere, delivering a spot-kick effort so catastrophically bad it memed the former Juventus man for all eternity.

Seriously kids, if you’re going to do a jig before you take a pen, just make sure you score.
