West Ham v Chelsea
So the Hammers have scraped themselves off the floor of the Premier League table, picking up their first three points of the season against a porously shite Everton side. But let’s face it, it’s been pretty putrid from Pellegrini’s outfit so far, and while he’ll be praying his side can build on their latest performance it looks as though they’ve turned the corner into another oncoming shit storm.
Next up Chelsea, and then a visit from United. Not ideal, is it Manuel?
There are a couple of positives going in their favour though; Chelsea played midweek which means they’ve a 40% less chance of winning apparently (I heard Graeme Souness say this and he knows his shit), and also the Hammers have scored in each of the last seven meetings against Chelsea.
But is that enough to side with West Ham in any sort of way? In a word, no. Chelsea played midweek, yes, but Sarri looks well capable of juggling European fixtures with the squad he has. Plus, Eden Hazard, got a resty poo and is already looking like this season’s Salah.
Chelsea are looking to win their opening six games to a Premier League campaign for the third time. And on both previous occasions they have gone on to win the league. Sarri’s side have scored 14 goals in their five games so far, but have only kept two clean sheets in the process so the selection here is Chelsea to come away with three points but both teams to score.

Arsenal v Everton
If West Ham can pick Everton off then this game will be a piece of piss for Arsenal. Emery will surely ditch the accountant suit for this one and turn up in a hoody, shorts and his Nike high tops – the three points are in the bag Unai.
Arsenal are unbeaten in 24 home games against Everton in all competitions and they love nothing more than banging them in against the Toffees.
They’ve scored more Premier League goals against Everton than any side has managed against another in the competition’s history (105 in total, to be precise).
Richarlison returns for Everton and Marco Silva will be chuffed with that. But as with any of Silva’s sides, shoring up the defence is the conundrum he just can’t figure out.
