Andy Gray tips Kane at the double as Watford look to summer break

Andy Gray gave us his thoughts as Spurs welcome Watford on Monday night. Can Harry Kane nick another goal or two as he pursues Mo Salah?

Though the season’s winding down, Spurs still have to keep their foot to the floor because Chelsea are in really good form now. It’s a pity for them they had that blip a month ago when they couldn’t win a game because they’ve now won four-in-a-row and are only two points behind Tottenham.

Spurs do have a game in hand on them, but if Tottenham don’t take care of Watford, Chelsea are within striking distance of fourth.

It’s very important that Pochettino finds a way to pick his up after their disappointment in the semi-final against United where, yet again, they couldn’t cope with a big pressure game.

Fancy a flutter on the football? Get over to

There are still very big questions for Pochettino and Spurs to answer after last week, but Watford are pretty poor at the moment, and I don’t think they’ll have much to offer here.

At this time of the season you’ll often see teams that look like they’re already on the beach. Well, I get the impression Watford players are already on the beach the way they’ve been playing recently.

A lot of them are looking to next season already.

They’re not getting relegated on 38 points – they’ll probabaly pick up one or two more before the end of the season which will guarantee it – but I can only see a Tottenham win this if they’re up for it. This should be a comfortable win.

I could easily see it finishing 3 or 4 nil. Don’t forget that Harry Kane is still chasing Mo Salah, he wants to catch him as he’s a few behind, and Salah’s given him a chance this week by not scoring against Stoke.

Remember as well that Harry Kane finished the league last season with two hat-tricks in his final two games, so don’t be surprised if Kane gets one or two in this game.

I see a big Tottenham win with at least a Harry Kane double in it.  Harry Kane to score first and Tottenham to win 4-0 is 12/1 in the Scorecast at the moment.

If you’re looking for value, Christian Eriksen is in good form and, at 5/1 to score first or 7/5 to score anytime, might be worth a dabble as well.
