Paul Ince’s picks to land the free £500,000 Hotshot Jackpot

Who can help you land half a million quid before Christmas? Incey has his say...

Arsenal v Newcastle: Alexandre Lacazette

I know that Arsenal didn’t perform on Wednesday night, but I really do think Newcastle at the Emirates will be a walk-over for them. Especially if Lacazette and Sanchez play at the level they’re supposed to. There’s fierce competition for top four now so they’ll need to step up!

Plus, Wenger has come out and said that he didnt play Lacazette in the week because he wanted to keep him rested, which surely means he will be ready for selection for this game.

Chelsea v Southampton: Alvaro Morata

Southampton’s display in the week was pitiful, and it was a straightforward win for Chelsea at Huddersfield, even despite Alvaro Morata being too tired to get out of bed for it!

Antonio Conte’s side can continue winning ways against Southampton, though it could put Mauricio Pelligrino’s job at risk, unfortunately. I just think Morata – when he’s not in need of a nice eight hour sleep – is class, and with Saints’ confidence down – he can net first.

Man City v Tottenham: Christian Eriksen

Yes! It’s the absolute game of the weekend, this one. I won’t accept anything less than a shedload of goals and a dollop of drama on top…

Though the way Man City are playing at the moment they seem to be wrecking everyone in their path. I know Tottenham have a good recent record against them, though, so maybe they can spoil their amazing winning streak?

If I remember rightly, Eriksen has a decent record in this game, and although the Irish don’t like me reminding them what a player he can be… If he wins the cash, who cares!

West Brom v Man Utd: Jesse Lingard

Yes, they were awful in the derby. Yes, they were unconvincing against Bournemouth. But I’m absolutely positive of this result.

West Brom should be a straightforward game for Jose Mourinho’s side. I know that will probably come back to bite me on the arse, now, but I really like Jesse Lingard and I think he’s been playing well recently. That said, with Romelu Lukaku spending time there, I wouldn’t be shocked if he netted the first either.

Bournemouth v Liverpool: Philippe Coutinho

There’s something lacking with Liverpool at the minute. They had a bad result in the week and were disappointing in the Merseyside derby.

After seeing how Bournemouth played at Old Trafford, they’ll be keen to make it difficult for Jurgen Klopp’s team too. I just think Coutinho is a bit of magic, and if he gets a belting set piece or if he’s playing the way we all know he can… Then I’m backing him to score first.

Everton v Swansea: Wayne Rooney

The Toffees fans will soon be singing “He goes by the name of Wayne Rooney!”

He’s on fine form at the minute, and Big Sam has Everton back to winning ways. That will continue against Swansea, I believe.
