Premier League: Topple Tuesday with this terrific 13/2 treble

A rare mid-week set of fixtures in England’s top tier could have you hitting the back of the net with this punt…

Brighton v Crystal Palace: Brighton win – 13/8

Ah the M23 derby, a classic for all you football hipsters out there as Brighton and Crystal Palace renew hostilities for the first time in four years tonight.

The Eagles come into this one after finally showing off their talons last weekend when Mamadou Sakho handed them just a second win of the season with a late strike against Stoke. Brighton for their part, lost to Manchester United away last time out after poor Lewis Dunk cruelly turned it into his own net.

The Seagulls will be keen to peck off their avian rivals later in order to keep up their strong start to the season and Chris Hughton’s men have gone five successive home matches without a defeat.

Palace haven’t managed an away success all campaign, losing every game they’ve played and we don’t see Roy Hodgson’s charges changing that record tonight. We’re backing Brighton to take off with a win at 13/8.

Leicester v Tottenham: Tottenham win – 3/4

You’d be forgiven for forgetting that these two were actually battling it out for the Premier League title before Tottenham fell away the season before last.

Yes, the greatest story football ever told already feels like a long time ago for Leicester as they’ve since returned to mid-table mediocrity.

Defence has always been a problem for the Foxes when it comes to Spurs, especially in their home den. Leicester have only managed a single clean sheet in their last 21 home matches with Tottenham and with Harry Kane in the visitors ranks, it’s hard to see them keeping it blank later.

After failing to beat struggling West Brom at Wembley, you’d expect Mauricio Pochettino’s men to come out swinging later and we’re tipping them for victory at 3/4.

Watford v Man United: Man United win – 4/6

Jose Mourinho’s Man United are like watching a steamroller coming towards you and not being able to move. You know it’s going to flatten you, but it’s going to be slow and agonising when it happens.

Still, they face up to a Watford outfit who are positively bouncing under the leadership of the much-wanted Marco Silva. The Hornets have won their last two Premier League games to nil and amazingly sit just four points off the Champions League places.

However – despite losing at Vicarage Road for the first time in 30 years last season – Man United have always found the venue on London’s outskirts a happy hunting ground, winning 12 of their last 13 visits.

Mourinho will be desperate to keep the pressure on Man City’s seemingly, unstoppable juggernaut and we believe that might just be enough to get them over the line tonight at 4/6.
