Paul Ince: These six first goalscorers can see you on your way to £425k

The pot has reached £425,000 - the highest we've had this season

Leicester v Man City: Sergio Aguero

I had a battle here about whether to go with the incredible Aguero or Jamie Vardy. I know what you’re thinking, VARDY?! But I like him, and it would make for a pretty thrilling game if he netted an early goal and then City went all-out attack.

But, sometimes sense prevails, and after Aguero declared himself fit yesterday…

Well, it’s really tough to pick anyone else.

Liverpool v Southampton: Roberto Firmino

This should be a decent game! But I think for all of Jurgen Klopp’s faults this season, they should get a win over Saints this weekend.

And then, could they get one over on them again and snatch Virgil van Dijk in January…? They’ll certainly be hoping so!

West Brom v Chelsea: Eden Hazard

Hazard missed Belgium’s friendly, but I reckon if he faces West Brom this weekend then he’ll net the opener.

Or, if you fancy a repeat of last year – without the league win of course – you could go with Michy Batshuayi to get the goal.

Man United v Newcastle: Romelu Lukaku

Another Belgian! And one who has been coming in for plenty of stick at the minute, whether you agree with it or not.

He did break his long spell without a goal during the international break, though, and I think against Newcastle this weekend he will be back on song. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he smashed home two or three!

Watford v West Ham: Richarlison

I read this week that Mauricio Pochettino is supposed to fancy getting  Richarlison at Tottenham, and to be honest I’m not surprised at all.

He’s already scored four times and had a couple of assists this season, and we’re only in November and that’s at Watford. So you can imagine the sort of impact he’d have at Spurs.

David Moyes takes over West Ham, and with this being his first game in charge, I think it will be a tough one.

Brighton v Stoke: Shane Duffy

This man was Ireland’s only shred of light in their game against Denmark in the week. And let’s hope he can give Brighton fans a reason to smile about against Stoke.

Him and Lewis Dunk have been really impressive – you can see that from Brighton’s position in the table. It’s no surprise they’re being eyed up by other Premier League sides!
