With pressure mounting on Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha after his side’s semi-final defeat to Motherwell on Sunday, we’ve slashed the odds of the Portuguese being sacked within the next TWO MONTHS.

We’ve gone 1/2 that Caixinha will be shown the Ibrox exit door before the next Old Firm derby – scheduled for 30th December – and massively odds-on that he won’t see out the SPL season (1/10).

Striker Kenny Miller is the shock favourite (3/1) to succeed Caixinha if and when he does go, with former Gers player Billy Davies and previous caretaker manager Graeme Murty (both 5/1) also in contention.

While a popular, but shock, return for Alex McLeish is seen as more of a long-shot (12/1) – likewise, current Scotland interim coach Malky Mackay is a 14/1 shot.

Spokesman Paddy Power said: “The clue’s in the name, Pedro – it sounds like time for the axe.

“After a lack of Progrès in Europe, and not exactly performing Well in the cup over the weekend, it’s surely time to Ped-go for the Portuguese.”
