It’s been a tough couple of weeks for Leeds United and their supporters as their side has slumped to three defeats in-a-row.
A 2-0 victory over Birmingham had The Whites sitting top of the Championship in early September, but losses in their last three outings to Cardiff, Sheffield Wednesday and Reading has got fans on a bit of a downer.
Everyone at the club, including the owner, the manager and the players, has been honest in fronting up to the mini-crisis. However, centre-half Pontus Jansson has gone a step further in a brutal self-assessment of his own performances of late.
It’s in the difficult times that you build trust and build foundations, all the team and staff have my support. Let s learn from mistakes and work harder then before #pride#family#graft

Jansson – who is a cult figure with Leeds fans thanks to his tough tackling style – took to Instagram last night to ask supporters to ‘stay together’, while also admitting he’d been ‘s**t’ in the last few weeks.
Leeds are still only four points off the Championship summit and will hope to arrest their slide away to Bristol City on Saturday. You can check out Jansson’s moment of honesty for yourself below:
