We’ve paid out on David De Gea as Man of the Match

Because he deserved it....

So, in probably the least shocking news ever, Liverpool v Manchester United was a let down again.

It was the fourth consecutive draw between these two sides, neither of them landed a single shot on target in the second half and, to sum it up: it was a tough watch.

At the end of the game, the Man of the Match was handed to Joe Gomez. But the lads on our trading floor think that’s a load of b*llocks. They’ve decided to pay out on David de Gea as the rightful winner of the yellow plastic block.

Why? Because Dave Saves.

In case you missed the game (lucky you, a trip to the tip would’ve been more enjoyable) then you can see the unreal save using his left leg below:

Yeah, we don’t know how he did it either. My leg hasn’t been that low to the ground that low in years.

So, if you backed DDG to be the Man of the Match today, don’t worry, justice has been served. You’ll have a nice few quid in your account. We have, of course, paid out on Joe Gomez too.
