Greater Manchester Police troll Liverpool after ‘assault’ at Eastlands

Needless to say, Reds fans were not amused...

It wasn’t the best of days for Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium today. They went down 5-0 to a rampant Manchester City, albeit hampered as they were by the 37th-minute sending off of Sadio Mane.

Liverpool fans, understandably, were not best pleased. And things got even worse for Reds supporters who happened to witness a post-match Tweet from the Middleton branch of the Greater Manchester Police.

GMP Middleton, with more than a hint of schadenfreude, were quick to rub it in, much to the displeasure of LFC Twitter…
