We’ve cut the price on a Chelsea move for Riyad Mahrez

So, it looks as if those insightful traders of ours have slashed the odds of Chelsea signing Riyad Mahrez today – first from 7/1 to 4/1, and then almost immediately to 11/10.

With the Leicester playmaker given the all-clear by his national team to finalise a transfer today, Chelsea have soared into pole position for the Algerian, after a flurry of bets this morning.

He would be reunited with title-winning team-mate N’Golo Kante, and may be followed by Danny Drinkwater (4/11) and Jamie Vardy (7/1), with deals for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fernando Llorente cooling.

Along with Vardy, Torino hit-man Andrea Belotti is an attacking option (4/1) for Antonio Conte – with Michy Batshuayi out of favour.
