It’s not often that fans are united on an issue, but when such a situation does occur, it’s usually down to a shared hatred.
For Liverpool fans, the common denominator in this instance is their mercurial centre-back, Dejan Lovren.
After he turned in another ‘generous’ performance against Hoffenheim, Reds supporters appear to have finally given up on the Croatian defender. Such was the outpouring of grief over his display that ‘Lovren’ began to trend across many areas of the UK and Ireland.
To be fair to Lovren, he was only directly responsible for giving away one goal, so things are clearly improving.

Such an idea is a smear on the glorious careers of Djimi Traore and Andrea Dossena, and with Alberto Moreno continuing to work his magic on the left-flank, Lovren might not even be the worst defender currently in the squad.
Still, for most fans of the Merseyside outfit it looks as if enough is enough.
