Good To Grand: How you can turn a tenner into over £1,000 this weekend

Here's our picks to turn your £10 into nearly a glorious grand on Saturday and Sunday...

We’re in as deep denial here at Power Tower, just like Theresa May after yesterday’s UK General Election and we’re not giving up on Good to Grand.

This week we’re hoping to rise like Jeremy Corbyn, but we need things to swing our way just like the Labour vote on Thursday night!

International football tops our party manifesto this week with Ireland, England and Wales all on our ballot paper, while horse racing and the British and Irish Lions also make it onto our top ticket.

This week’s fab five-fold brings in just – and we mean just – over a grand if you stick a tidy tenner on it and here’s how to land it…

Net some great international football punts at PaddyPower.com

Things have been tougher for the Lions in New Zealand than they have been for a UKIP voter it seems after losing to the Blues in midweek. However, Warren Gatland has named a stellar line-up to face the Crusaders on Saturday morning and we’re tipping them to maul a first victory over a Super Rugby franchise this tour.

The lightly-raced Fantasy Keeper was an impressive winner over 6f on soft ground at Nottingham last month. He gets the same conditions in the 2.20 at Haydock on Saturday and from a decent draw with top jock Ryan Moore booked, can go close again.

Moving to International Football, there’s a meeting of auld enemies at Hampden Park and we’re not talking about Theresa May and Nicola Sturgeon! England have won their last three on the bounce against their neighbours to the north Scotland and we think it will be four in-a-row on Saturday evening.

Next on the hit list is Ireland’s crucial World Cup qualifier with Austria at the Aviva Stadium. The visitors’ attack is blunter than a Tory campaign promise thanks to injuries and suspensions, so we’re going with Martin O’Neill men to do the business on Sunday.

Finally, we’re believe Serbia and Wales will cancel each other out on Sunday night. The Welsh proved against Ireland that they would literally kick their way to a result, so the Serbian’s better bring their shin pads!
