WATCH: Neil Warnock storms Huddersfield press conference to mock Sheffield Wednesday

It was all good fun ahead of the Play-Offs…

Yesterday was unfortunately the end of the regular season in the Championship, but at least there was some laughs along the way.

With their eyes firmly fixed on the Play-Offs Huddersfield lost out on a 3-0 scoreline to Neil Warnock’s Cardiff City at the Kirklees Stadium. However, despite the win Warnock was not satisfied with controlling matters on the field, he also wanted possession of The Terriers’ press conference room after Huddersfield manager David Wagner took a little too long for his liking.

In a video released by Radio Yorkshire, Warnock can be heard banging on the door while Wagner was holding council with the press. Warnock then tells his counterpart: “Come on for f**k sake, let me have five minutes. I’ve got to go!”

It was all good-natured however and the former Sheffield United legend couldn’t resist having a dig at past rivals Sheffield Wednesday, backing Huddersfield to down The Owls in the Play Offs.

He then jokingly told Wagner he “deserved to fined” after making a raft of changes at Birmingham the week before which led to a probe from the EFL. Warnock was in vintage form and you can watch the exchange for yourself below:
