Feel euphoric for the Europa League with this 21/1 acca

Thunder into Thursday with this fantastic four-fold on tonight’s games

Phew! How do you top Barcelona’s stunning comeback in the Champions League last night? The short answer is you can’t, but tonight’s Europa League action still has some fascinating ties on offer.

Manchester United make the trip into Putin Country to play FC Rostov and European giants like Ajax, Roma and Lyon are in action this evening as we get down to the business end of the competition.

In order to mark the end of another great week of ties on the continent, we’ve decided to put together a frisky four-fold accumulator that could deliver for our punters at 21/1.

Let’s talk you through our picks…

FC Rostov v Manchester United, BT Sport 2

The Rostov fans may be preparing to hand out blankets to Manchester United supporters as a gesture of goodwill, but The Reds know their players won’t be getting a friendly reception in western Russia later.

Manager José Mourinho has wasted no time criticising the pitch at the Olimp-2 Stadium, which is admittedly pretty damn poor, but he must now see this competition as United’s best chance of making it into the Champion League – especially after last week’s bonkers draw with Bournemouth.

One of the casualties from that contest was talismanic striker Zlatan Ibrahimović, who’s now banned domestically for the next three games after a much publicised elbow on Tyrone Mings. However, he’s available in Europe and can be found at 16/5 to take out his frustrations on Rostov with the first strike tonight.

Given the importance of tonight’s game to their entire season, we can’t see United losing and we’re going to punt for them to open our acca at 17/20.

Best of the rest

We have to embark on a whistle-stop tour of Europe for the rest of our acca and the first port on the way happens to be in Denmark for the meeting of FC Copenhagen and Ajax.

Ajax are not the feared prospect the once were, while Copenhagen made a good fist of the Champion League in Leicester group. The Danes have only lost a single game at home all season and we’re going to add them to our betslip at a price of 6/4.

The next stop on our journey comes in Spain, where Celta Vigo host Krasnodar at the Balaídos.

Both sides are somewhat out of form, but Krasnodar how only managed a single away victory in the competition this season. Take the Spaniards at 4/7 here.

Our final destination is an all-German affair as Schalke 04 and Borussia Monchengladbach scrap it out to progress.

Even though their 2/1 outsiders, we’re tipping Monchengladbach for this one as they won their last four in-a-row in all competitions and Schalke have been woefully poor of late with no victory in their last five.
