It really was a Super Sunday for three Hotshot Jackpot punters who had chosen Harry Kane to score against Everton at White Hart Lane. They needed him to find the net at any point to put them through to the final stage on the road to the £250k prize.
Of course, he scored after just 20 minutes – and once again at the 56 minute mark – to ease the nerves and leave them chasing a Blue Monday tomorrow. They were in safe hands though, considering Spurs’ top goalscorer now has 24 in all competitions, including eight in his last four matches.
He’s now left three punters with a squeaky bum, a sleepless night and potentially an affinity to Chelsea that they never knew they had.
Two punters need everyone’s favourite bastard, Diego Costa, to smash the ball into the net. Should he do so, they will split the £250,000 prize straight down the middle.
With Kane scoring, that means at least 3 players are now just waiting on Monday night's game to see if they could win the #HotShotJackpot

He is on 16 Premier League goals and five assists so far this season and Chelsea have won 17 of 19 games outside the top six so far this season. Their next target? West Ham.
Although The Hammers knocked The Blues out of the League Cup in October, Costa found the net in the 89th minute the last time these two sides met in the league. Put it this way, I wouldn’t mind resting my hopes on him.
Our other Jackpot hopeful is rooting for Fabregas to do the business tomorrow, a player who netted twice in a 2-2 draw between these two sides last season. It’s easy to see why this punter went with him, after he got a goal, an assist and a yellow Man of the Match plastic block against Swansea last time out.
Should both Costa and Fabregas score, they will split the prize three ways and have the sort of Monday night we can only dream about.
Chelsea have lost just two of their last 21 league games against West Ham, (W15 D4) and we will be cheering these lads on from the comfort of our sofas tomorrow.
