The early kick-off on Saturday turned into complete chaos, as a head stomp from Tyrone Mings saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic react with an elbow to the head.
It resulted in a Gary Neville commentary orgasm, a yellow card for Andrew Surman (which became a red) and even Jamie Carragher outrage. The ex-Liverpool player said during his half-time punditry: “That stamp from Mings was horrific and he deserves a smack for that.”
Despite the 1-1 half-time scoreline, the talk has all been on the violent incidents before the whistle sounded.

Both should be off. But Mings' feet are about size 12. You stand on someone's head whilst they're on the floor, don't cry if you get a crack

Hope Zlatan's elbow's ok after that head butt.

I wouldn't normally defend an elbow to the face but Mings' stamp on Ibra's head was so disgusting he deserved what came back. #MUNBOU pic.twitter.com/WzTgEkYXL8
