WEST BROM V CRYSTAL PALACE: GARETH MCCAULEY
The 37-year old defender is The Baggies joint top goalscorer this season and has found the net in their last two games against West Ham and Bournemouth. Crystal Palace currently find themselves in the drop zone, despite picking up a win last week and vandalising their own bus. Hopefully the Northern Irish veteran can get us off to a flier.
SWANSEA V BURNLEY: GYLFI SIGURDSSON
Of Burnley’s 31 points this season, just two have come from away matches. Shocking, we know. Their home form may be impressive, but with Clement’s instant impact at Swansea, the home side look bankers for the win. Sigurdsson is the league’s second-top assist maker, and is no stranger to banging in a crucial free-kick. I like him, and I want him to help me put £250,000 in my purse.
WATFORD V SOUTHAMPTON: MANOLO GABBIADINI
Many Saints fans were left feeling like Gabbiadini was robbed in last week’s League Cup final. He looked gutted when Zlatan’s winner hit the net, and we’re backing him to avenge last week’s loss by smashing (at least) one in against Watford. Watch this space.
LEICESTER V HULL: JAMIE VARDY
Is he back?! Was he a one-season wonder? Who knows. He made Liverpool look like an under-11s on Monday and it would be interesting to see if he has a comeback after Claudio Ranieri’s departure. Hull have conceded 50 goals this season, so The Foxes may make The Tigers their next target.
STOKE V MIDDLESBROUGH: JOE ALLEN
Middlesbrough are yet to win in 2017 and look to be easing their way down to the relegation zone. They’re in 18th place, level with Crystal Palace, whilst Stoke recovered from a bad start to the season and sit comfortably in tenth. We’re going with the Welsh Pirlo to cause an upset this weekend, but Peter Crouch currently leads the way for Stoke’s goalscorers with 7 goals this season.
LIVERPOOL V ARSENAL: SADIO MANE
It really has been a tough start to the year for Jurgen and the lads. They were battered by Leicester last week and had the p*ss ripped out of them by a Greater Manchester Police Twitter account. However, when they are on song, Sadio Mane looks like the biggest threat and it’s impossible to choose any other Liverpool player at the minute. Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez is surely worthy of a shout here too, as he chases the 16/17 Golden Boot.
TOTTENHAM V EVERTON: HARRY KANE
Hat-tricks, hat-tricks and more hat-tricks. The man doesn’t know where to stop. He’s bagged two in his last three games, and with Romelu Lukaku never scoring against Spurs in his Everton career, this one is a no-brainer. King Kane it is.
WEST HAM V CHELSEA: DIEGO COSTA
Last time these two sides met back in the league back in August, Costa gave Chelsea the win with a sneaky 89th minute goal. He netted in the 84th minute against Swansea last week, and if we’re being honest, everyone’s favourite bastard is in frightening form this season.
