Watch: Flying goalkeeper save the day by netting last second header

Everyone loves to see a goalkeeper pile forward in injury time in desperate search of a late equaliser and we got one of those wonderful moments in Ecuador yesterday.

Deportivo Cuenca were leading 2-1 away at CSD Macara in their Ecuadorian top division contest when they conceded a corner in 94th minute.

After getting the signal from the bench Macara Argentine goalkeeper Osvaldo Cabral made his way into the box and the stadium held its breath.

Thankfully Cabral delivered a moment of magic for all of us to enjoy as he leaped like a salmon and powered a thunderous header into the ground. The ball then bounced unstoppably up into the top corner sending the home crowd wild.

There really is nothing better for the neutral than seeing a netminder grab a late goal, but they may be sending Cabral forward a bit more after the quality of this header. Watch the glorious moment for yourself below:
