Stupid Punt: Huddersfield to batter City and Tubbs to embarrass Arsenal. It’s the FA Cup special.

The FA Cup is back, and so are the crazy bets. Here's a selection of our favourites.

Huddersfield to beat Manchester City 4-0, 500/1

This would be a drubbing to remember… Though we can see the logic in this one, Huddersfield have won their last six matches in a row in all competitions and are unbeaten in seven home games. On saying that, City have conceded just once in their last 11 matches and it’d be a favourite-backer’s nightmare if that was to change this weekend. On saying that, if this punter has backed it with our new Kicker product and it comes in, he will be made up. The more your team wins by, the more you are paid out. This lad could see returns of €225 if it lands. For more information on Kicker click here.

Manchester United to beat Blackburn 3-1 and Chris Smalling to score first, 275/1

We’re not sure either… Though Mike Smalling did bag a goal in the 4-0 Cup win against Wigan not so long ago. United are unbeaten in nine games in the competition and will head into the game on the back of a 3-0 battering of St Etienne – courtesy of a Zlat-trick. (Cringe)

Sutton to beat Arsenal 1-0 and Matt Tubbs to score first, 400/1

No, not the character from the League of Gentlemen. Matt Tubbs is Sutton’s joint-second top scorer this season with six goals after signing from Forest Green Rovers. He’s no stranger to FA Cup glory, netting the winner against Torquay for Crawley to earn a trip to Manchester United in 2011. A year later, he bagged a hat-trick to send Crawley into the fifth round. These are just a couple of examples. If there’s a man to cause a shock this weekend, it’ll be him. Besides, with Arsenal on the back foot after their battering at the hands of Bayern, who knows?
