BOURNEMOUTH v WATFORD: JUNIOR STANISLAS

Although only two points separate these sides, and Watford have done little to really impress for a while now. They failed to score against Middlesbrough last week, which makes it even tougher to pick a goalscorer this week. Bournemouth have bagged seven goals in their last three matches, with Stanislas firing home a penalty after three minutes last week. The last time these two sides met they both scored two each, so hopefully we can expect some goals here.

CRYSTAL PALACE v EVERTON: ROMELU LUKAKU

After making a complete mockery of Manchester City last week, it should be simple enough for Everton to beat Crystal Palace this weekend. The last time Palace managed to pick up three points from a league game was on December 3rd. Although I never seem to be able to get him right, Lukaku has hit some form, scoring four goals in his last five matches in all competitions, including opening the scoring for The Toffees last week.

MIDDLESBROUGH v WEST HAM: ANDY CARROLL

Now, we aren’t expecting another contender for goal of the 16/17 season, but we reckon Carroll can do the business against Middlesbrough. Since returning from injury he has been in decent form, and besides, that unbelievable strike should have at least given him a confidence boost. West Ham’s answer to the man below…

STOKE v MANCHESTER UNITED: ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC

This man got United out of the sh*t once again last weekend, scoring the equaliser against Liverpool when it looked like there might not be one coming. He’s now joint top Premier League goal scorer, and will be keen to add to that tally against Stoke. He’s been a regular, but reliable selection of mine for a while now and I’m hoping he won’t let me down!

WEST BROM v SUNDERLAND: JERMAIN DEFOE

It’s borderline impossible to pick anyone else when Sunderland are playing. Defoe has proved time and time over that it only takes one opportunity to bang one in. He was our most popular selection of the competition last week, and it’s easy to see why.

MANCHESTER CITY v TOTTENHAM: HARRY KANE

Kane bagged a hat-trick last week against West Brom, bagging his first of the game in just 12 minutes. Although the opponents are considerably tougher this week, Everton made it look easy against Fraudiola last week, and an on-fire Spurs can do the same now. Kane seems a safe bet, and takes the penalties too.

SOUTHAMPTON v LEICESTER: ISLAM SLIMANI

This one was the toughest call of the lot, and although The Foxes may have been slaughtered by Chelsea last week, things seems to have been looking up. They beat Everton in the FA Cup and West Ham in the league on New Year’s Eve, where Slimani got the only goal. He’s also a former Hotshot Jackpot hero, which makes him even more worthy of a selection.

CHELSEA v HULL: PEDRO

Who needs Diego Costa? Chelsea showed last week that they won’t be totally lost without him, should he leave to China as the on/off rumours suggest. Pedro has netted four goals in his last four games in all competitions, including the final goal of the game against Leicester last Saturday.

What do you think?
