2 Up You Win: We paid out early on Bournemouth to beat Arsenal!

We paid out on both Bournemouth to win AND the draw in yesterday's six-goal thriller...

Paddy had just about got over shelling out for his Christmas presents, when Bournemouth stuck two goals past Arsenal in 20 minutes. As per the rules of our  2 Up, You Win offer, we immediately paid out on a Cherries victory.

The home team peppered Arsene Wenger’s side early on, and took the lead after just 16 minutes when Hector Bellerin momentarily lost his head, allowing Charlie Daniels to cut inside and stick a goal past Petr Cech.

Just four minutes later, Callum Wilson scored a penalty to double Bournemouth’s lead. A predictable Arsenal-fan meltdown ensued, and we shelled out the cash to the punters who had backed a win for Eddie Howe’s ninth-placed outsiders.

It took until the 70th minute for The Gunners to begin their comeback. Alexis Sanchez found a header at the far post thanks to a little flick-on from Olivier Giroud. It became his 13th Premier League goal of the season, and his tenth in away appearances.

The floodgates opened, and Lucas Perez soon netted a volley to bring the travelling side in touching distance of the points. Bournemouth captain Simon Francis received a straight red in the 82nd-minute, and our traders began to sweat at the thought of a second payout…

Olivier Giroud headed home in injury time to draw Arsenal level, and rumour has it he is still at Dean Court now, celebrating by doing fake scorpion kicks.

The thriller finished 3-3, meaning we paid out on both Bournemouth to win after they went two goals ahead, followed by the Arsenal draw at full-time.

Tonight, Chelsea head to Tottenham to try and secure their 14th consecutive league win. In five of the last seven meetings behind these sides, either team has gone 2 goals ahead during the game, if only punters could have taken advantage of the 2 Up You Win offer!
